Looking for budget stays in Noosa? This section is designed to save you time, money, and unnecessary stress. We've got insider tips to help you find affordable hostels and the cheapest places to stay in Noosa.
Within the Noosa region, Noosaville is located more inland and is situated on the Noosa River, next to Noosa Sound. This part of the Noosa region has more of a river-and-canal-type feel than the big-beach-type feel that you may find in other areas of Noosa. It is, however, a more upmarket area of town and you will find the major road, Gympie Terrace Boulevard, is lined with cafes, resorts, and restaurants.
Majority of the Noosaville hostels are located back off the Gympie Terrace Boulevard either on Noosa Parade or on the side streets off Noosa Parade. Given how small the area is, most of the hostels in Noosaville are within walking distance to the boulevard and the other supermarkets and shopping centers within this suburb.
Activities within the region consist of exploring the canals by kayak or canoe, which you can hire from may of the local establishments. You can take a trip over to Noosa Heads to the main surf beach and take a surf lesson or if you know how to surf already, there are boards for hire. Hastings Street aligns the main surf beach and this is full of restaurants, bars, and other small cafes that have a really relaxed feeling to them. The Noosa National Park is also only a short distance away from Noosaville and is well known for its diverse range of plants and wildlife within the region as well as its stunning rocky coastline. It is a great place in which to get lost and explore.
