According to legend, Luther nailed his famous Ninety-five Theses on the portal of the All Saints' Castle Church (in German, "Schlosskirche") in the early sixteenth century. Melanchthon House is the place where the humanist and important reformer lived. It is a Renaissance-style house from the sixteenth century and on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Wittenberg is located between Leipzig and Berlin. There is a hourly high-speed ICE train linking Leipzig and Berlin, which also stops in Wittenberg.
