This section is dedicated to take away all your "I wish someone had told me that before I went!" experiences. This way, you can spend less time settling in, and more time making new friends in your chosen hostel. We share our insider knowledge of tips, tricks and important things to look out for in Forlì.
Forli is a nice city with some interesting sights, but its location makes it great! It is just twenty kilometers away from Rimini, San Marino, Bologna, and Cesena, and is a great center for a tour to these cities, especially if you manage to book a cheap hostel in Forli.
The city itself is nice, great for people who like to walk, and there are interesting things to see like the fortress Rocca di Ravaldino and the Palazzo Hercolani, but as it is small, your opportunities for exploration will be soon limited. However, Forli is a nice place to visit for a few days.
If you arrive in Forli at the airport, there are good options to your Forli hostel with public transportation. There are buses that will take you directly to Forli, but be sure to have your station correct. Even taking a taxi to your hostel in Forli is not expensive, as the airport is less than five kilometers away. There are many cheap flights from many European cities. Train connections are also convenient and it is easy to go to Bologna, Rimini, San Marino, or Cesena. If you cannot book a cheap hostel in any of these cities, you can as well try to book a cheap hostel in Forli (although your options are extremely limited). The beaches are also close –- less than twenty kilometers.
