Panama’s local rum, called Carta Vieja, can be purchased locally at all bars and supermarkets within Panama. David City is also a good base to explore some of the surrounding region, and to partake in some of the regions adventure spots, such as water rafting, canyoning, and rock climbing. Los Pozos de Caldera hot springs is a popular natural spot located a few kilometers from the city.
